Bustard mechanical floor lamp
Bustard mechanical floor lamp
Bustard is a 'bird on a perch' floor standing lamp. Its main light shines out from under its 'beak'. It also has two extra lights behind wooden slatted sections at each end of its perch.
You can adjust the angle and attitude of Bustard by turning the brass handle. This operates the 'rack & pinion' gear to rotate the bird body relative to its legs. You can also adjust the angle of the beak itself by loosening and tightening the eyeballs. The oak tail can be adjust in a similar way.
