Sculptural desk lamps that play with gravity, handmade in Yorkshire.
This family of desk lamps can be extended or retracted by gently rolling them forward or backward. Repositioning the big brass weight on the rocker re-balances the lamp to a new equilibrium. Angle adjustments are made by sliding the upper brass counterweight along the horizontal bar.
Lamp adjustment can now be a satisfying and playful experience.
This B-Type Balance lamp has a simple clean design with a strong sense of scientific purpose and perhaps just a little bit of the cheeky about it.
Balance lamps are hand-engineered in the North of England out of anodised aluminium, brass, stainless steel, cast iron and hardwoods. They are approximately 46 cm tall and come supplied with a standard GU4 12V DC LED bulb and plug-style power supply. Available for UK and international power sources. Each lamp is individually numbered.
Balance lamps have been designed to last for generations and are delivered in environmentally friendly packaging. They have a five year guarantee for all parts and workmanship.

If for any reason you are not happy with your Balance lamp we will refund all your money and arrange for the item to be collected from you.
