This family of desk lamps can be extended or retracted by gently rolling them forward or backward. Repositioning the big brass weight on the rocker re-balances the lamp to a new equilibrium. Angle adjustments are made by sliding the upper brass counterweight along the horizontal bar.

This A-Type Balance lamp is based on a golden ratio spiral giving it a flavour of natural forms or swirling galaxies.
Balance lamps are hand-engineered in the North of England out of anodised aluminium, brass, stainless steel, cast iron and hardwoods. They are approximately 46 cm tall and come supplied with a standard GU4 12V DC LED bulb and plug-style power supply. Available for UK and international power sources. Each lamp is individually numbered.
Balance lamps have been designed to last for generations and are delivered in environmentally friendly packaging. They have a five year guarantee for all parts and workmanship.
